CrossLink Media Powers Santiko’s Mobile VIP Club

Background

Santikos Theatres is the only locally-owned and operated theatre circuit in South Texas. With theaters throughout San Antonio and Houston they maintain a tradition of customer service, community relations and superior cinematic presentation.

In September of 2008, Santikos expanded their marketing efforts to offer a Mobile VIP Club allowing the Company to better communicate with customers both inside and outside of Santikos venues. Santikos chose CrossLink Media to execute multiple mobile marketing campaigns including mobile coupons, alerts, contests and specials.

Santikos customers opt-in to the system by texting SANTIKOS to 95613, which immediately delivers a mobile coupon back to their phone. This coupon can be redeemed at the concession stand for an immediate discount. Additionally, consumers can access the Santikos mobile website for real-time
movie updates directly from their phone.

Regularly, Santikos uses CrossLink Media’s proprietary messaging system, MessageLink, to send text message alerts, coupons and offers to Mobile VIP Club subscribers to drive them into the theaters with special offers and incentives.
